About CloudCamp:

CloudCamp is an unconference where early adopters of Cloud Computing technologies exchange ideas. With the rapid change occurring in the industry, we need a place where we can meet to share our experiences, challenges and solutions. At CloudCamp, you are encouraged to share your thoughts in several open discussions, as we strive for the advancement of Cloud Computing. End users, IT professionals and vendors are all encouraged to participate.

CloudCamp

CloudCamp was invited to Cologne by the organizers of WebHostingDay, Europe’s largest hosting conference. WHD expects over 1000 visitors, many of which will be interested in Cloud Computing. Our mission will be simple: bring our enthusiasm to WHD and make this CloudCamp as informative as possible.

CloudCamp WHD will take place on Thursday, the most important day of WebHostingDay. It will be a full day of presentations, discussions and networking for Hosting and Cloud enthusiasts. The collaboration between CloudCamp and WebHostingDay is a win-win: CloudCamp benefits from a great platform and WebHostingDay will meet a large number of Cloud specialists sharing their view on recent trends in the industry.

As an event from the industry for the industry, WebHostingDay delivers information and impulses directly from the source to the right target group. It unites the decision makers of the leading European web hosting companies, and thus provides an ideal venue for an exchange of experiences as well as networking among equals. CloudCamp will take place on the most visited day of WebHostingDay, Thursday March 19th. It will be a full day of presentations, discussions and networking for Hosting and Cloud enthusiasts.

Notes:

We are still working on the content. The goal is to enable and encourage audience participation. The unconference groups can be moderated by volunteers or sponsor representatives.

If you are giving a Lightning Talk you will need to supply the slides to the organizers 72 hours prior to the event (i.e. Mon March 16th).

Lightning Talks can be held by sponsors but we need a background on the speaker: needs to be visionary/evangelist NOT a sales/marketing speaker
